Questions about buying
- Who counts as a student?
Each student account that uses a Chromebook with Shepherd during the school year, counted once. Staff and teacher accounts are free.
- Is there a minimum?
The smallest yearly invoice is $750, so a very small school still covers its share of hosting and support. Above that, you pay the per-student price and nothing else.
- What if our enrollment changes?
We invoice at the start of the year for the students you expect. If more students use Shepherd than that, we true up once, at renewal. There are no mid-year charges.
- How do we pay?
One invoice a year. We accept purchase orders with net-30 terms, and payment by ACH or check.
- What does the pilot cost?
Nothing. The pilot runs in monitoring-only mode beside your current filter for thirty days, with every feature of the plan you choose.
- Are there setup fees or extras?
No. The price per student includes hosting, updates, the category lists and support. There is nothing to install on your network.
